Leader Online Desk: Terrorists attacked two places in Kashmir late on Saturday (19th) night. A BJP leader and a former sarpanch were killed in this attack and a tourist couple from Jaipur was injured. Police and security guards have cordoned off the entire area and a search operation is underway.
Terrorists fired on former BJP sarpanch Ejaz Ahmed Shaikh in Shopian's Hurpora village. He was rushed to hospital, but died during treatment. At the same time, terrorists attacked a couple of Jaipur, Farha and Tabrez, in Yener near Pahalgam. After shooting both of them at close range, the terrorists fled from the spot. The duo had come to eat at a restaurant in Yenar when the terrorists opened fire on them, police said.
