Congress Party Manifesto | Congress manifesto released, 5 justices, 25 guarantees, 1 lakh to poor women, promise of loan waiver for farmers leader


Leaders Online: The Congress released the party manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 at the headquarters of the All India Congress Committee in Delhi on Friday (5th). The Congress named this manifesto as the Judiciary. This manifesto is based on the GYAN concept. G stands for Poor, Y stands for Youth and A stands for Annadhata and N stands for Nari is the concept behind this. Also this manifesto of Congress is based on 5 'pillars of justice'. 25 types of guarantees have also been given in this declaration.

This manifesto was released in the presence of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi. Mallikarjun Kharge said that our manifesto is dedicated to the poor. Poor women will be given assistance of Rs. While 30 lakh government jobs will be given under Yuva Nyay. Congress has promised in its manifesto that farmers' loans will be waived off.

The Congress has said that it will give a legal guarantee to the Minimum Support Price (MSP) announced by the government every year as per the recommendations of the Swaminathan Commission.

The 'Five Justices' or five pillars of justice in the Congress Manifesto include 'Youth Justice', 'Women's Justice', 'Kisan Justice', 'Labor Justice' and 'Shareholder Justice'. Along with that, it also includes the guarantee given to the people as part of the promises made in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The manifesto has also promised to provide 30 lakh government jobs.

The Congress party in its manifesto said that the Congress party will conduct a nationwide socio-economic and caste-wise census to know the castes and sub-castes and their socio-economic conditions. Also, the constitution will be amended to increase the 50 percent limit on reservation for SCs, STs and OBCs.

In the first phase, the Congress has promised youth 'right to employment' as part of its election manifesto.
According to a PTI report, the party is also considering proposing stiff punishment for those responsible for leaking papers in exams. Congress is trying to focus on the youth before the elections.

The central government's contribution as pension to senior citizens, widows and disabled persons under the National Social Assistance Program is as low as Rs 200-500 per month. Congress has also promised that we will make this amount 1 thousand rupees per month.

Congress has said that this judgment of ours will be remembered as a document of justice in the political history of the country.

GST 2.0 will replace GST laws

GST 2.0 will replace the GST laws implemented by the BJP/NDA government. GST will be a single, moderate rate (with some exceptions) that will not burden the poor. The new GST regime will be based on this universally accepted principle, the Congress said in the manifesto.

Congress has said that we have set a target of doubling the GDP in the next 10 years.

Improve relations with Maldives

The Congress further said in the manifesto that it would try to mend the strained relations with the Maldives. We will work to restore the status quo along our border with China and ensure that our soldiers can re-enter areas patrolled by both armies. Until this is achieved, we will take the necessary steps to revise our policy towards China.
