Singer Chris Martin of British band Coldplay has said that his band will retire after releasing their 12th studio album. Chris has also explained the reason for this in an interview given to Zane Lowe.
He said, we will release only 12 albums as a band. Our aim behind doing this is to give the best quality to the fans. We are constantly trying to improve our songs. We have taken this decision by taking inspiration from the other artists as there were only seven seasons of Harry Potter.
Chris said that working as a band on the album is good but also very difficult. He wants the people associated with the band to take time for themselves also. According to Chris, the 12th album will be his last as a Coldplay band, but he will continue to work on other projects with his band mates Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion.
10th album to be released on October 4
Coldplay's 10th album Moon Music will be released on October 4, 2024. These days Coldplay band is in discussion about their concert to be held in India in January 2025. Coldplay performed at the Golden Citizen Festival held in Mumbai in 2016. 80 thousand people became a part of this show, which included many Bollywood celebs.
