Amravati, News Agency : Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader N. Chandrababu Naidu has once again succeeded in capturing the power of Andhra Pradesh after almost 20 years. Forming an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party and actor Pawan Kalyan's Janasena Party, he defeated Yuvajan Shramik Rythu (YSR) Congress leader S. Jaganmohan Reddy's power was inaugurated.
His sister Y. S. Congress, which entered the fray under the leadership of Sharmila Reddy, could not even open its account. Meanwhile, BJP has got an opportunity to participate in power in Andhra Pradesh for the first time.
Andhra Pradesh assembly election results were announced on Tuesday. In this election held for a total of 175 seats, 88 seats were required for majority. The parties TDP, Jana Sena and BJP contested the elections jointly under the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) umbrella; Whereas YSR Congress and Indian National Congress followed the path of 'Ekla Chalo Re'. Chandrababu's TDP won 134 seats and secured a clear majority. The Jana Sena party also won more seats than the ruling YSR Congress, improving on its previous performance. Bharatiya Janata Party has also won 8 seats for the first time and has entered power in a grand manner. BJP could not even open an account in 2019 elections.
Assembly elections were held in Andhra Pradesh on May 13 along with the Lok Sabha elections. Chief Minister Y. S. YSRCP under the leadership of Jaganmohan Reddy contested all 175 seats. N.
