Chandrababu Naidu was likely to take oath as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister on Sunday, June 9. But now his swearing-in ceremony has been postponed till June 12. Narendra Modi is likely to be sworn in as Prime Minister on Saturday, June 8. Due to this, it is now believed that the program of the swearing-in ceremony of Chandrababu Naidu has been changed.

Narendra Modi submitted his resignation as Prime Minister to President Draupadi Murmu on Wednesday. The President accepted the resignation of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet. He also appealed to Narendra Modi to remain in office till the new government takes over.
The Telugu Desam Party has become the second-ranking party in the BJP-led NDM. So Chandrababu Naidu is now in the role of kingmaker. Along with this, the role of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will also be important in NDA.

Telugu Desam Party insists on the post of Lok Sabha Speaker

Chandrababu Naidu clarified on Wednesday that we will stay with the NDA after the Lok Sabha election results. Meanwhile, there is talk that Chandrababu Naidu is insisting on the post of Lok Sabha Speaker in the new government. The Telugu Desam Party is also believed to be pushing for seven to eight cabinet posts and one minister of state post.
