Team India has won the T20 World Cup by defeating South Africa in the final held in Barbados on 29 June. Many Bollywood stars including India have also expressed happiness by congratulating the team on Team India's victory in the championship. A picture of Virat Kohli from the stadium is also in the headlines, in which he is seen getting emotional after making a video call to his wife Anushka Sharma and children after the victory.
On the other hand, Anushka Sharma has expressed concern for daughter Vamika after the match through a post. Amitabh Bachchan has written on India's victory that he did not watch the match because he believes that if he had watched the match, the team would have lost. Along with this, many Bollywood celebs including Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan, Alia Bhatt have also congratulated Team India.
Virat called Anushka immediately after the victory
Recently, a video of Virat Kohli has surfaced from the stadium in Barbados, in which he is seen making a video call to his wife Anushka Sharma right after the victory. During this, Virat is seen teasing Anushka and announcing the victory.
After this, Anushka shared a picture of Virat and wrote, 'And…I love this man. I am grateful to call you my home. Now go and drink a glass full of sparkling water while celebrating it for me.'
Anushka told about her daughter's biggest worry
By sharing the picture of Team India, Anushka has expressed the biggest concern for her daughter Vamika. She has written, 'Our daughter's biggest concern is who will hug her to calm her down after all the players cry. Yes, my dear, she has been hugged by 1.5 billion people. What a victory and what a legendary achievement. Congratulations champions.'
Salman Khan also congratulated the champions by sharing their picture on X platform (formerly Twitter).
Amitabh Bachchan said- If I had watched the match, I would have lost
Amitabh Bachchan has shared a blog on Team India's victory and wrote, 'Excitement, emotions and apprehension. Everything is done and over. I did not watch TV because when I watch it, we lose. Tears came in sync with the tears of Team India, nothing else goes into my mind.
