Famous actor-comedian of Hindi and Marathi film industry Atul Parchure died of cancer on October 14. His last rites were performed in Mumbai on Tuesday.

Many celebs from Hindi and Marathi industry including Mahesh Manjrekar, Shreyas Talpade, Ninad Kamat and Neha Pendse arrived on this occasion.

Atul was fighting a battle with cancer for the last two years.

Filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar came to bid farewell to Atul.

Actor Shreyas Talpade also reached here.

Actress Neha Pendse also arrived for the last darshan.

MNS chief Raj Thackeray also came to bid farewell to his friend.

Raj Thackeray said- We were his fans in school On this occasion, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) President Raj Thackeray also came to pay tribute to his close friend. He also shared a post related to Atul on social media. He wrote, 'The amazing actor and my close friend Atul is no more today. We used to study together in Balmohan School.

At that time Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan and Vinod Khanna were superstars. Many people were his fans but the one we were fans of was Atul Parchure. Atul used to act in the school drama 'Bazarbattu'. He was a born actor. He was a celebrity since school days.

Raj Thackeray wrote an emotional post for Atul.

Atul was rehearsing for Marathi drama 57 year old Atul was fighting a battle with cancer for two years. Marathi actor Jaywant Wadkar informed about his demise on Monday evening.

These days he was rehearsing for the Marathi play 'Suryaachi Pillay'. Meanwhile his health deteriorated. He was again admitted to the hospital after six days.
