Leader Online Desk: Ajit Doval has been appointed as the National Security Advisor (NSA) for the third time in a row. Meanwhile, PK Mishra will continue as Prime Minister Modi's Principal Secretary. The news in this regard has been given by ANI.
Appointment Committee of the Cabinet Dr. P.K. His appointment has been approved. Therefore, ISS (retired) officer Dr. P. K. Mishra has been working as the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister since Monday 10 June 2024. His appointment will be co-terminus with the tenure of the Prime Minister or till further orders, whichever is earlier. During his tenure, he will be given the rank of Cabinet Minister in the table of precedence, ANI reported.
Former IAS officers Amit Khare and Tarun Kapoor will serve as advisors to Prime Minister Modi for a period of two years from Monday 10 June 2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. ANI also said that he will be in the rank of Secretary to the Government of India.
