Hearing of HD Revanna's petition postponed

The Karnataka High Court has adjourned the hearing of the petition filed by Prajwal Revanna's father and JD(S) leader HD Revanna till June 3. The petition has demanded cancellation of the FIR filed in the KR Nagara police station in the case of sexual abduction. The SIT has also issued a notice to Prajwal's mother Bhavani Revanna for investigation. The SIT has asked him to appear at his home in Holenarsipur on June 1. Though Bhavani is not an accused in the case, the SIT wants to probe his role. Prajwal's father MLA HD Revanna was arrested in the same case. He was later released on bail.

Prajwal was arrested as soon as he reached Bangalore airport

Prajwal had booked a Lufthansa airline business class ticket from Munich airport on Thursday. He had not shared his contact number and email id while booking the ticket. The SIT had already coordinated with the airline and authorities to monitor him as he boarded the flight. The SIT was already ready to arrest him at the Bangalore airport. The flight took off from Germany at 3.35 PM IST on Thursday. The flight reached Kempegowda International Airport at 12.49 midnight on Thursday. As soon as he reached the airport, the police arrested him.

It has been revealed that Prajwal Revanna used his autocratic power to sexually exploit around 400 women. It also includes women officers of the Karnataka administration, wives of leaders and women workers of his own party. Prajwal, who has a misogynist image from the start, is accused of sexually abusing 400 women. Of these, 90 women are officers, wives of leaders or activists of the non-religious Janata Dal. While sexually abusing women, Prajwal himself has filmed the acts on his mobile phone. The culmination of the investigation is that he has repeatedly made those women victims of his lust by showing fear of the video depiction.
