Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor is currently waiting for the release of his upcoming film Maidaan. Meanwhile, during an interview, he was asked a question about Sridevi's biopic. When he was asked whether any biopic would ever be made on Sridevi, he said that he would never allow it to happen.
Boney said, 'Sridevi was a very private person and her life should remain private. I don't think I'll ever let that happen as long as I'm alive.
Boney had also sent a notice to the makers of Sridevi Bungalow
Earlier in 2019, Boney had also sent a notice to the makers of the film 'Sridevi Bungalow', after which the release of the film got stuck and it has not been released till now. Ever since the release of the teaser, Boney was saddened by his wife's name and the recreation of her death scene in the film.
After Boney's objection, the makers clarified that Sridevi is a very common name and their film is a suspense thriller. Internet sensation Priya Prakash Warrier was about to debut with the film.

Died in 2018
Sridevi died on 24 February 2018 at the age of 54. She had gone to her nephew Mohit Marwah's wedding in Dubai where she died by drowning in the hotel bathtub.
Sridevi married producer Boney Kapoor in 1996. One year after marriage, Sridevi gave birth to elder daughter Janhvi. After this Boney-Sridevi became parents of daughter Khushi.
Sridevi was last seen in public at Mohit Marwah's wedding.

Sridevi started her Bollywood career in the year 1978 with the film 'Solhwa Sawan'. After this he worked in the film 'Himmatwala'. He worked in about 300 films in his 40-year career and gave many hits.
Apart from Hindi films, Sridevi appeared in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada films. He also received Padmashree in 2013 for his contribution to cinema.
She was considered the first superstar of Bollywood. His last film was the film 'Zero' released in 2018 in which he did a cameo.
