Boeing Starliner launch | Sunita Williams set for third space journey, 'Starliner' will take off tonight









Leader Online Desk: Indian-origin astronaut Sunita Williams will once again go into space. She will go into space tonight aboard Boeing's Starliner, which will take off from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 10 p.m. Earlier on May 7, the flight was grounded due to a technical failure in the oxygen valve. Today (May 1st) NASA will again launch this mission.

Sunita Williams will stay in space for 1 week

US space agency NASA said, “If all goes well, the Starliner will land on the International Space Station. Sunita Williams will then spend about a week in space with her colleague Butch Wilmore to test the Starliner spacecraft and its subsystems.”

Sunita will jump into space for the third time

Indian-American astronaut Sunita Williams will go into space for the third time. Along with this, she has the opportunity to make history as the first woman to fly on the first crewed mission of the new space shuttle, according to NASA, the American space agency.

Reacting to this NASA mission, Sunita said, I am a bit nervous; But the new spacecraft is excited to fly. When I reach the International Space Station, I will feel like I am back home,” Sunita also expressed emotionally. Sunita, 59, has also helped NASA engineers design the Starliner spacecraft.
