Bobby Deol got tremendous success with the film 'Animal' last year. Before this, he faced a lot of struggle in life. During that time, Bobby got addicted to alcohol.

In an interview with Humans of Bombay, Bobby talked about the most difficult phase of his life and said, “You can't sit and regret the things you did wrong but how will you learn from your mistakes? I started feeling sorry for myself. There is nothing worse for a person than feeling sorry for himself.”

Bobby further said, everyone feels weak and it is very difficult to overcome this feeling. It feels like you are drowning. My family members were very concerned for me at that time. They always kept encouraging me but when I tortured myself like this, I could see in their eyes how much pain they were in.

The period from 2014 to 2016 was when Bobby, frustrated with not getting work, started working as a DJ in high profile nightclubs and pubs.

Bobby had a 30-second role in 'Dharam-Veer'. Pleased with his son's work, Dharmendra gave him ten thousand rupees.
