A case of theft of a luxury car BMW Z4 from Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty's Bastian restaurant in Mumbai has come to light.
This car belonged to Bandra based businessman and car collector Ruhan Khan and was worth around Rs 1 crore. Ruhaan has lodged his complaint at Shivaji Park Police Station.

Car stolen just a minute after parking Ruhaan reached the famous Bastian Club in Dadar with his friends at 2 pm on 27th October. Here he gave the car to the club valet to park.
The valet parked the car in the basement. Barely a minute after parking the car, two people in a jeep reached the basement. Opened the car through hacking and ran away with it. This entire incident was captured in CCTV.

Just a minute later, a man got down from the jeep and stole Ruhaan's car and ran away.
After this, at 4 in the morning when the club closed, Ruhaan asked the valet to bring his car and found out that his car was not in the basement. After examining the CCTV footage, it was found that the car had been stolen.
Police registered a case after investigation Ruhaan's lawyer Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh said that Shivaji Park police immediately registered the case after investigation. The police is now trying to find the accused through all the CCTVs installed on the roads.
Questions raised on security lapses The lawyer also raised questions about the lapses in security of the club and the restaurant remaining open beyond the stipulated time. Along with this, he also termed serving liquor openly as a violation of the law. He said the matter would now be taken to the High Court.
