BJP, Congress candidates announced for Assembly by-elections

New Delhi, Leading News Service: BJP and Congress on Monday announced their candidates for assembly by-elections to be held in some seats in the states of Punjab, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

BJP has announced the candidacy of Sheetal Angural from Jalandhar West assembly constituency in Punjab and Manas Kumar Ghosh from Raigad constituency in West Bengal. Manoj Kumar Vishwas from Ranaghat, Vinay Kumar Vishwas from Bagda and Kalyan Choubey Bhattacharya from Manikatala constituency have been nominated.

Congress has also announced its candidates for Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand Assembly by-elections. From Hamirpur Constituency Dr. Congress has nominated Pushpendra Verma and Hardik Singh Bawa from Nalagad. Lakhpat Bhutola has been nominated from Uttarakhand's Badrinath and Qazi Nizamuddin from Mangalore.
