Leaders Online Desk: A transformer exploded in the Patna civil court in Bihar on Wednesday afternoon. Meanwhile, three lawyers standing near the transformer were severely burnt. A lawyer died on the spot. Two others have been admitted to hospital for treatment. The name of the deceased is Devendra Prasad.
On receiving the information, fire engines reached the spot and started extinguishing the transformer fire. After this incident, the lawyers started protesting in the court premises. Senior police officers reached out to the protesting lawyers. Preliminary information is being received that the oil in the transformer has leaked and caused the explosion.
