Big News: Vallabh Bhawan Building in Madhya Pradesh Ministry of Fire, 5 Employees Escaped | leader


Leader Online Desk : A fire broke out at the Ministry building (Vallabh Bhavan) in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, today (March 9). A fire broke out on some floors of Vallabh Bhavan, which is spreading rapidly. But the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, reports ANI. (MP Fire News) Meanwhile, five employees trapped in the old building of the Ministry have been safely rescued by firemen. However, it has not been revealed whether some more employees are trapped in the building or not.

A fire broke out on the third floor of the old ministry building in Bhopal on Saturday morning. Due to strong winds, the fire spread rapidly and soon reached the fourth, fifth and sixth floors. At 9:30 am on Saturday morning, cleaning staff between Mantralaya Gate No. 5 and 6 informed the security personnel after seeing smoke coming from the third floor of the old Mantralaya building. After this, fire brigade and police reached the spot. Four fire engines were deployed at the spot to douse the fire, but due to strong winds, the fire spread rapidly. (MP Fire News)

MP Fire News: Scavengers gave information about the fire

In front of gate number 5 and 6 of the Vallabh Bhavan building in Mantralaya, cleaning crews saw smoke coming from the building. The ministry's security officers and the fire department were then informed. As soon as the information was received, police and fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. Shardhi's efforts are on to bring the fire under control with the help of four fire tenders. As Saturday was a holiday, no employee was present in the ministry. Earlier, a fire broke out on the third floor of Satapuda Bhavan near Vallabh Bhavan. Local media also reported that many important files and documents of the health department were burnt. The fire spread due to strong winds

Four fire tenders started dousing the fire, but Bhopal city officials could not bring the fire under control due to strong wind and the fire being on the upper floor. After this, fire brigade was called from BHEL, EME Center Bairagarh and Bhopal Airport. However, by that time the fire brigade of Bhopal Municipal Corporation had also reached the spot. However, due to strong winds, the fire has engulfed the fourth, fifth and sixth floors.

5 Employees' immediate release

Five employees trapped in the old building of the Ministry have been safely rescued by the fire brigade personnel. However, it has not been revealed whether some more employees are trapped in the building or not. The police and municipal officials are yet to clarify whether the personnel were already present at the ministry or had reached the ministry to douse the fire and take out the documents safely.

Ministry was closed for 38 hours

It was noticed that the fire broke out in the ministry around 9:30 am on Saturday morning even though the ministry was on holiday on Friday due to Maha Shivratri and International Women's Day. No one was there after the ministry closed at around 6pm on Thursday. It was closed all day on Friday, the fire broke out on Saturday, so questions are being raised as to what caused the fire after the office was closed for 38 hours.
