On December 6, 2001, Rahul, son of businessman Dharmaraj Madhesia, was kidnapped. In this case, a case of kidnapping was registered in Kotwali police station. In this case, the police had accused nine people including Amarmani.
It is alleged that the house in Lucknow where the abducted child was found belonged to the then Minister Amarmani. A non-bailable warrant has been issued against Amarmani since October 24, 2011. Amarmani is absconding. He did not surrender the case, so his property is being confiscated.
Amarmani Tripathi and his wife Madhumani Tripathi, who were serving a life sentence for the murder of poetess Madhumita Shukla, were ordered to be released by the Uttar Pradesh Prison Administration last year. . The remaining sentences of both of them were canceled due to their good behavior in prison.
