Big blow to 'AAP' by Supreme Court, order to vacate party office by 15th June leader









Leader Online Desk : The Supreme Court dealt a major blow to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). AAP has built a party office on the land given to Rouse Avenue Court. The Rouse Avenue court ordered that the office be vacated by June 15. The Supreme Court today (March 4) directed to comply with this order.

AAP has built a party office on the land given to Rouse Avenue Court. A petition was filed in the Supreme Court in this regard. A hearing was held in this case before a bench of Chief Justice Dhananjay Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala and Manoj Mishra.

The Supreme Court bench said that AAP should approach the Land Allotment and Development Office for its office. The bench also clarified that the AAP was given time till June 15 to vacate the political office on the plot given to the Delhi court for the purpose of expanding the district judiciary in view of the upcoming general elections.

'Your office is built on illegal land'

The court has clarified that the party has no legal right over the land on which the AAP office is built. Our office is built on land allotted to Delhi High Court. This land will be used for expansion of Rouse Avenue Court.
