Amitabh Bachchan worked in 'Reshma Aur Shera' after the film 'Saath Hindustani'. Recently, during an interview, actor Ranjeet, while sharing an incident related to this film, said – During the shooting of the film, Amitabh Bachchan used to recite Geeta every morning and used to write letters to his mother and father in the evening.

The film 'Reshma Aur Shera' was shot in Rajasthan. The living arrangements for all the actors of the film were in tents. Ranjeet says, 'Amitabh Bachchan was staying in the tent next to mine. Every morning I used to see him reading something and writing something at night. One day I asked him, what do you read every morning and what do you write at night?

Ranjeet and Amitabh Bachchan together.

Ranjeet said- Amitabh Bachchan told that he recites Geeta in the morning. And, every day at night, I write a letter to my mother and father and send it. I liked this thing about Amitabh very much. Amitabh had worked in 'Saat Hindustani' before 'Reshma Aur Shera'. So he was one film senior to me. After this film, we did many films together, even now we keep meeting Amitabh Bachchan and we keep joking and having fun.

During KBC Season 15, Amitabh Bachchan, while referring to his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan, had said – Babu ji had translated the Bhagavad Gita into Awadhi. Bhagavad Gita was written in Sanskrit. In such a situation, it was difficult for common people to read it. So Babu ji thought why not translate this religious book in easy language. That book is called 'Jan Geeta'.

Amitabh Bachchan's upcoming projects

Amitabh Bachchan will soon be seen in director Nag Ashwin's film 'Kalki 2898 AD'. This will be a multi-starrer film in which actors like Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan will be seen. In this film, an attempt has been made to show Kalki incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
