Manoj Bajpayee starrer 'Bhaiya Ji', which released at the box office this Friday, has seen a jump in its collection on the second day. On the opening day, the film had earned Rs 1 crore 44 lakh.
On Saturday, it earned 2 crores rupees. With this, the total collection of the film has reached 3 crores 45 lakh rupees.
The overall occupancy of this film on Friday was 12.52%, which was better than the first day. Manoj Bajpayee is seen in a full action role for the first time in this film directed by Apoorv Singh Karki.
'Furiosa' earned Rs 6.88 crore in three days
On the other hand, the Hollywood film 'Mad Max: Furiosa' which was released a day before Manoj's film, saw a jump of 51% in its earnings on the third day. This film starring Chris Hemsworth and Anya Trailer which was released on Thursday, did a business of 2 crore 91 lakh rupees in India on Saturday.
'Thor' fame actor Chris Hemsworth is seen in the lead role in Furiosa.
The film did a business of 2 crore 5 lakhs on Thursday and 1 crore 92 lakhs on Friday. Now its collection in three days has reached 6 crore 88 lakhs.
'Srikanth's earnings crossed 35 crores
Meanwhile, Rajkumar Rao starrer 'Srikanth' is doing good collections in the third week as well. After earning 1 crore 18 lakhs on Friday, the film earned 2 crore 15 lakhs on Saturday.
With this, its total collection has reached 35 crore 35 lakh rupees. Better business is expected on Sunday.
