Leader Online Desk : Bengaluru Cafe IED Blast : The explosion at Rameswaram Cafe in Bangalore on Friday (1st) is suspected to be a bomb blast. This incident has created a stir. 9 people were injured in this blast and they are undergoing treatment in the hospital. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has made a big disclosure on this matter. He said, 'The blast at Rameswaram Cafe in Bangalore is not a cylinder blast but an IED blast. Some things are emerging from the investigation. In which someone is believed to have left a bag in the cafe. The bag is suspected to contain IED. The CCTV footage of the cafe has come to light and the police is investigating it.'

Earlier, after the cafe blast incident, Whitefield's fire station said, 'We received a call about a cylinder explosion at Rameswaram Cafe. We reached the spot and tried to bring the situation under control. A team of forensic experts along with a dog team also reached the blast site and collected evidence from the spot.'

A security guard at the restaurant said, 'I was standing outside the cafe. Many customers were present in the restaurant. Suddenly there was a loud noise and a fire broke out. As a result, customers in the hotel were injured.'

According to police, the fire broke out between 1.30 pm and 2 pm at Rameswaram Cafe in Kundanahalli. As soon as the information was received, police and fire brigade teams reached the spot. Preliminary investigation revealed that the cylinder had exploded. A police officer said that we are investigating the incident from all angles.
