YouTuber Bhuvan Bam's web series 'Taza Khabar Season 2' is streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar from yesterday. Bhuvan Bam has also produced this series. Recently, the YouTuber talked to Dainik Bhaskar about this series. Bhuvan Bam talked about the challenges of this series. At the same time, he told that it was his compulsion to become a producer.
Question: What kind of challenges did you face in 'Taza Khabar 2'?
answer– After the first season, we had to prove what could be better than before. We had this feeling while writing the script and shooting. The biggest challenge was to live up to the expectations of the platform and our own. We also had to prove to the audience that what could be a little better than before. It is a matter of happiness for me that the OTT platform showed faith in us. We are bringing the latest news season 2.
Question: You are also the producer of the series, what was the reason for becoming a producer?
answer-You can call it my compulsion. I had to act. I could not wait for a producer to give me a chance. I opened my own production house. First of all, I made a short film 'Plus Minus'. We released it on YouTube. It won the Filmfare Award for Best Short Film in the short film category. We got motivation from there. Producer is just our tag, the rest of the work is handled by the team. But this is a job of great responsibility. Now even relatives have started taking my work seriously. Earlier they used to say that I make videos for YouTube.
Question: As you said that you could not wait for the opportunity outside, have you ever tried it?
answer- I tried a lot. But the process of getting work was taking a toll on our creativity. We are facing the losses and profits in our own production house. We are also learning. If you learn the art of production well, then all other work becomes easy. As far as acting is concerned, my only interest is to work on a project for 40-45 days. I take a break from there and then look for new stories. There is a lot of difference in creating content for YouTube and OTT.
Question- What is the reason behind joining YouTube?
answer- Earlier I used to think that there is a YouTube channel for Bollywood movies and trailers. But someone told me that Google pays. That was a surprise moment for me. Earlier I used to upload my videos on Facebook. At that time I had no idea about YouTube. I created a YouTube channel and uploaded all the videos that I had uploaded on Facebook on YouTube. At that time not many people knew about YouTube. We could not even tell at home that a career can be made in this too.
Question: What was your parents' reaction when you told them about joining YouTube?
answer- 8-10 years ago we couldn't even imagine that a career could be made in this. At that time we couldn't even tell our family members. I told my parents that for 10-12 years whatever you wanted happened. Now give me two years. No one questioned that. Everyone said that do whatever you want, but don't fall into bad habits. It's a strange world outside. When the first cheque came from YouTube, the parents were very happy. Then they felt that a career can be made in this as well.
