The third phase of the Lok Sabha elections is going to be colorful. For this, voting will be held on May 7 and the fight between Nanand (Supriya Sule) and Bhavjayi (Sunetra Pawar) in Baramati has attracted the attention of the whole country. In Baramati Lok Sabha constituency, Supriya Sule, daughter of senior leader Sharad Pawar and sitting MP, has been given a formidable challenge by Sunetra Pawar, NCP surveyor and Deputy Chief Minister's wife. Although Sunetra has entered the election fray for the first time, there is no sense of novelty anywhere in her campaign. Moreover, Ajit Pawar has a strong hold on the Baramati Lok Sabha constituency. On the other hand, there is a large section that believes in Sharad Pawar in this constituency. As both the candidates are tied, there is a lot of curiosity about who will win the victory. Another feature of this election is that Matoshree Pratibha Pawar has also joined the campaign of Lake Supriya.
The bitter fight in Kolhapur has become very tight. With strong leaders on both sides, a large group of workers and strong logistics, the colors of the election are getting darker day by day. Congress has drawn the attention of the entire state by nominating Shahu Maharaj. Mahayuti has fielded sitting MP Sanjay Mandalik against him. There is a possibility that the match in Satara will also be colorful. Udayanraje Bhosle has been challenged there by Shashikant Shinde. Apart from this, the future of the current Union Minister Narayan Rane in Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg constituency is at stake. In Sangli, sitting BJP MP Sanjaykaka Patil will have to fight with Thackeray group's Chandrahar Patil; But the real challenge has been posed by Vishal Patil (Independent).
BJP dominates in Gujarat
In Gujarat, the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the BJP is once again hoping to win 26 seats and complete a clean sweep. Amit Shah is contesting from Gandhinagar, while Union Minister Purushottam Rupala is contesting from Rajkot. A close fight is likely between the Trinamool Congress and the opposition BJP in West Bengal. Natural and political temperature is rising in that state. BJP may benefit from vote split in West Bengal due to Congress alliance with Left parties. Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee is criticizing the Congress over this. In 2019, BJP won 25 out of 28 seats in Karnataka. This time once again BJP has pushed for the same performance. In this state, there is a direct fight between Congress and BJP. In the third phase in Madhya Pradesh, the fate of three star candidates namely Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Jyotiraditya Shinde and Digvijay Singh will be sealed at the ballot box.
In Bihar, the third phase of voting is going on in five constituencies and there is a fight between NDA and India. Chhattisgarh is also holding elections in seven constituencies.
