Film 'Kala' fame actor Babil Khan has shared an emotional post in memory of his father and late actor Irrfan Khan. Tomorrow i.e. 29th April is the death anniversary of Irrfan Khan. Before this his son Babil had remembered him. Babil wrote- You taught me to be a warrior, but also to connect with love and kindness. You taught me hope and you taught me to fight for the people. You don't have fans, you have a family, and I promise you Baba, I will fight for my people and our family until you call me. I will not give up. I love you very much.
Along with the post, Babil also shared some pictures of his father.
Three days ago, Babil had shared a cryptic post and deleted it. After this post of Babil, his fans got upset. Actually he had written in the post- 'Sometimes I feel like giving up and going to Baba.' Babil has been in the news ever since this post went viral.
Irfan died in 2020
Irrfan married Sutapa Sikdar in 1995, whom he met while studying at the National School of Drama. The couple has two sons, named Babil and Aayan. Apart from earning a name for his work in the Hindi film industry, Irrfan has also worked in Oscar-winning films which are 'Life of Pi', 'The Amazing Spider-Man', 'Inferno', etc.
Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer in 2018 and was undergoing treatment for almost 2 years. But he died on April 29, 2020, at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.
Babil Khan's upcoming projects
Babil made his Bollywood debut with the film 'Kaala'. Recently, he has been praised by KK Menon, R. Madhavan was seen in 'The Railway Men' with Divyendu. Next, Babil will be seen opposite Amitabh Bachchan in Shoojit Sircar's directorial debut, 'The Umesh Chronicles'.
