According to a recent Mid-Day report, Ayushmann Khurrana no longer wants to work with Sunny Deol in Border 2. Ayushmann Khurrana was given the role of an army soldier in the film. Ayushmann Khurrana and the makers of Border 2 were very happy with this collaboration. However, with time, Ayushmann Khurrana started doubting playing a supporting role with Sunny Deol. This is the reason why he has decided to leave the film.

Diljit Dosanjh may enter the film

There are also reports that after Ayushmann Khurrana leaves the film, his place can now be given to Diljit Dosanjh. Diljit Dosanjh has received an offer from the makers of the film.

On the 27th anniversary of the film Border, in June 2024, actor Sunny Deol announced Border 2. In the post, he wrote, A soldier is coming again to fulfill his 27-year-old promise. India's biggest war film Border 2.

Sunny Deol told that the film is being jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, J.P. Dutta and Nidhi Dutta, while it will be directed by Anurag Singh.
