Tahira Kashyap has written the books 'The Sins of Being a Mother' and 'The 12 Commandments of Being a Woman'. Tahira said- He was not very happy with the books I wrote, but they were the best and were quite popular. Whereas he considers them to be blasphemy.

Tahira's book 'The Sins of Being a Mother' is about the joys as well as challenges and frustrations of raising children. She also talks about the guilt that many mothers feel and how she has learned to overcome it.

In 'The 12 Commandments of Being a Woman', Tahira talks about lying about her periods in school, falling in love with her would-be husband at the age of eighteen, her obsession with having triple D bra cups, trying the world's weirdest diet and accidentally getting pregnant because of eating Chinese food.

Tahira said- Ayushmann may not like the books written by me. I feel bad when he calls them blasphemy. But we both respect each other a lot. I read the scripts of all his films, I like reading a lot.

Tahira's directorial film 'Sharmaji Ki Beti' has recently been released on Prime Video. In this film too, she has talked about women empowerment. After watching this film, Ayushmann has praised his wife Tahira's hard work and determination.
