Mumbai, Leading News Service : Platform extension work for long distance trains is underway at CSMT station. For this work, power block will be taken on the night of Friday 10th and Saturday 11th May. During this block some changes have been made to the Mail-Express traffic on Friday night including local. Local traffic between Byculla to CSMT and Wadala Road to CSMT will be completely closed after 12:30 on Saturday night till 4:30 in the morning.
A block will be taken on the Up and Down Expressway between Byculla and CSMT on Friday night. During the block, 12502 Madgaon-CSMT Janshatabdi Express, 22120 Madgaon-CSMT Tejas Express, 11058 Amritsar-CSMT Express, 11020 Bhubaneswar-Mumbai Konark Express, 12810 Howrah-CSMT Mail will be run only up to Dadar station. Also, the local leaving from CSMT station to Kalyan at 9.54 pm and the local leaving from Kalyan station to CSMT at 11.05 pm have been cancelled.
On Saturday night, there will be a block on both the up-down express line between Byculla and CSMT and the up-down line between Wadala Road and CSMT stations. 12870 Howrah-CSMT Superfast Express, 01080 Mau-CSMT Special, 12052 Madgaon-CSMT Janshatabdi Express, 22120 Madgaon-CSMT Tejas Express, 11058 Amritsar-CSMT Express, 11020 Bhubaneswar-Mumbai Konark Express, 02140 Nagpur-CSMT Superfast Special, 12810 Howrah – CSMT Mail trains will be operated only up to Dadar station. Local services between Byculla to CSMT stations on main line and Wadala Road to CSMT stations on Harbor line will remain closed during the block period.
