Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame actor Gurcharan Singh returned to his home on Friday (May 17) after three weeks. Show producer Asit Kumar Modi has reacted on his return. Asit said that he had become very worried. He had no idea what had happened to Gurucharan.
Asit said that when he heard that Gurucharan had returned, he heaved a sigh of relief. Let us tell you, Gurucharan Singh had left for Mumbai from his home in Delhi on 22 April, but neither reached the airport nor returned to his home. After this, Delhi Police registered a case of kidnapping and started investigation.
I tried to call Gurucharan- Asit
Asit Kumar Modi told Times Now- I am very happy that Gurucharan has returned. We were very worried about them. I don't know many details. Now only he can tell what is going on in his mind. I was also trying to call him, but his phone was not working.
I knew Gurucharan would return
Asit further said- I knew that Gurucharan would return. I also knew that he must have set out on some spiritual journey. He has already been a person of very spiritual nature. The biggest thing is that nothing happened to them. He came home safely, this is a big thing.
Gurucharan has also had a dispute with Asit Modi
Gurucharan Singh remained a part of 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' from its inception till 2013. Later he left the show due to some dispute with producer Asit Modi. However, by then he had become so popular that on public demand the producers had to bring him back in the show. After making a comeback, he did this show for 6 years.
After this, Gurucharan left the show in 2020 to take care of his father during the lockdown. After staying away from acting, Gurucharan lives with his parents in Delhi.
