Leader Online Desk:Ashneer Grover and his wife Madhuri Jain of 'Shark Tank India' fame have been denied permission to travel to Britain (UK) by the Delhi Police. Ashneer and Madhuri wanted to go as lecturers at the London School of Economics (LSE). Hence, he sought permission to visit the investigating officer of Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police between March 9 and March 15. However, their demand has been rejected. (Ashner Grover)

According to information, Ashneer Grover and his wife Madhuri Jain were to go to the UK as lecturers at the London School of Economics (LSE) from March 9 to March 15. They have been denied permission to go by the Economic Offenses Wing. Speaking to the media, Ashneer said, “My correspondence with the Financial Crimes Branch is confidential. As directed by the court, I will continue to cooperate with the police in this case and win in court. I have not yet received any correspondence from the Economic Offenses Branch regarding the travel permit.”
Ashneer Grover was in trouble after he was accused of malpractices at Bharatpay in May last year. FIRs have been registered against them under sections 406 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating and dishonestly delivering property), 468 (forgery with intent to defraud), 471 (using false documents as authentic) and 120.
