Arvind Kejriwal | Kejriwal's interim bail will end, he will surrender before the Tihar administration today









Leader Online Desk: Arrested on May 21 in the Delhi Excise Policy case, Kejriwal was out on interim bail till June 1 for election campaigning. Meanwhile, today (May 02) after the expiry of his bail, he (Arvind Kejriwal) is going to surrender in jail, according to the media.

In his ex-post, Kejriwal has thanked the Supreme Court for granting bail for 21 days. It is also said that today at 3 o'clock he will leave the house and visit Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat and Hanuman temple at Connaught Place in Delhi. After that, he will go to the party office and meet all the workers and party leaders. From there I said that I will go to Tihar Jail again.

Judgment on plea for 'medical' bail on June 5

Last week, the AAP chief moved the Supreme Court seeking a seven-day extension of interim bail on medical grounds. Kejriwal claimed that he will need time for tests as he is losing weight and has high ketone levels. The Supreme Court Registry refused to immediately list his petition. He then approached the special CBI-ED court for interim bail. The court reserved the verdict till June 5.
