Leader Online Desk: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has filed a bail plea in the Rouse Avenue Court just 3 days before the surrender deadline. The session court will hear the plea of Aam Aadmi Party organizers today at 2 pm. The news in this regard has been given by ANI.
Earlier, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had applied to the Supreme Court seeking an extension of 7 days in interim bail. Kejriwal (Arvind Kejriwal) had asked for an increase in bail to conduct some health checks. But the Supreme Court has refused to hear the plea for extension of bail. So now Kejriwal has approached Delhi's Rouse Avenue Sessions Court. Kejriwal's plea will be heard today (May 30) in the session court.
Why extension of bail to Kejriwal?
- An extension of seven days is required for medical tests
- Weight has been lost and ketone levels have increased dramatically.
- Some medical tests including 'PAT-CT scan' are required

Interim bail till June 1, surrender ordered on June 2
Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the ED on March 21 in connection with the Delhi liquor policy scam. Kejriwal filed a petition in the Delhi High Court against this arrest, but the High Court rejected his petition. After this he approached the Supreme Court. On May 10, the Supreme Court granted interim bail to Kejriwal till June 1.
