Leader Online Desk: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had applied to increase bail in the liquor policy scam case. The Supreme Court refused to hear it. Meanwhile, Kejriwal approached the Delhi Sessions Court. At this time, the Delhi Sessions Court has sought a reply from the ED on Kejriwal's interim and regular bail. The hearing will be held on June 1.
Application for extension of bail on medical grounds
Kejriwal has filed two separate petitions. A petition seeking regular bail in a money laundering case initiated by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy scam. The second petition is regarding the extension of interim bail for seven days on medical grounds. The Delhi Sessions Court has issued a notice to the Enforcement Directorate today (30th) on both these petitions.

Will Kejriwal be jailed or bailed again?; It will be on June 1
The interim bail granted to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by the Supreme Court ends on June 1. After that, he has been asked to surrender in Tihar Jail on June 2. Meanwhile, Kejriwal had filed an application in the Supreme Court for health checks. Kejriwal has sought an extension of bail by seven days for health tests through an application. For this, he filed a bail application in the Supreme Court.
However, the Supreme Court refused to grant him bail. After that, he again approached the Delhi Sessions Court for bail. A hearing was held today (May 30) at Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court. Meanwhile, the Delhi Sessions Court has sought the ED's reply on Kejriwal's interim and regular bail. Also, the next hearing in this case will be held on June 1.
Kejriwal deliberately left loopholes in liquor policy
Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 21. The Enforcement Directorate has accused Arvind Kejriwa of being part of a conspiracy to deliberately create loopholes in the scrapped Delhi Excise Policy of 2021-22 to benefit some liquor vendors.
