Arvind Kejriwal: Kejriwal moves to Supreme Court again for extension of interim bail









Leader Online Desk: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has demanded that his interim bail be extended by 7 days. Kejriwal has filed a petition regarding this demand in the Supreme Court. India Today reported that Arvind Kejriwal has asked for an increase in bail to carry out some health checks.

He was released from jail on May 10 after the court granted his interim bail application to campaign for the Lok Sabha elections. Kejriwal will have to appear before the jail authorities on June 2, a day after his interim bail expires. But Kejriwal will have to undergo a PET-CT scan and other medical tests. Aap Aadmi Party has informed that he (Arvind Kejriwal) has asked for 7 days for investigations.

Aam Aadmi Party supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on 21 March 2024 in connection with the Delhi liquor policy scam. After that he was kept in Tihar Jail. Meanwhile, he was granted interim bail on May 10 (Arvind Kejriwal) for the Lok Sabha elections. After this he was released from jail.
