Today is the 36th birthday of Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. The actress worked in 19 films in her 16-year career, out of which 13 films were hits. These also include the year's highest grossing blockbuster films like 'Piku' and 'Sanju'.

Anushka was born on May 1, 1988 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. His father Colonel Ajay Kumar Sharma is an army officer and mother Ashima Sharma is a homemaker. There is an elder brother, Karnesh Sharma, who was earlier in the Merchant Navy, but is now a film producer.
Dhoni's wife Sakshi and Anushka were classmates.
