Anurag Kashyap mentioned in a recent interview the day when he had to spend a night in jail. Actually, he had slapped a person, due to which he had to stay in the lockup for the whole night.

In a conversation with YouTuber Samay Raina, Anurag Kashyap said- I have gone to jail. I slapped the wrong person. Due to this, I had to spend a night in jail. The man who put me in jail is the same person who changed my life completely. He was the one who got me out as well.
He was arrested in Saudi Arabia for drinking alcohol
Some time ago, in an episode of Unfiltered with Samdish, Anurag had mentioned the incident when he was arrested for being drunk in Saudi Arabia.
He had said- There were no flights from Denmark due to the volcanic eruption. I was very tired. After buying the ticket, I had to wait for 5 hours. At that time I had a bottle of alcohol. I went to the lounge and started drinking.
After some time, as soon as I sat in the flight, I fainted. Then when I landed in Saudi Arabia, I was arrested because I was walking in a drunken state. I was also interrogated after the arrest.
Talking about the work front, recently Anurag Kashyap has been seen acting in Disney+ Hotstar's series 'Bad Cop'. Gulshan Devaiah, Harleen Sethi and Saurabh Sachdeva are also with him in this. This series has been streamed on 21st June.
