In the TV industry, rumors and discussions sometimes become a part of the lives of actors. Recently, there were many rumors about 'Anupama's Anuj Kapadia i.e. Gaurav Khanna leaving the show. On these rumours, Gaurav said while talking to Dainik Bhaskar that he never paid attention to these discussions.
I have no interest in getting into trouble
When Gaurav Khanna was asked about the rumors of dispute with the show's lead actress Rupali Ganguly, he said, 'When actors leave the show one after the other, it becomes a big topic of discussion. People always believe that everyone is leaving because of one personality. But I can't say much on this, because everyone has their own thinking and understanding. If someone leaves, he himself knows what is right and what is wrong.
I have always stayed away from rumors and negativity. My job is to do my work with all my hard work and dedication until the director says 'cut'. Everything else is secondary. The job of actors is only to act, not to be a part of meaningless discussions.
There are some actors who get pleasure from these rumours, who promote these things to bring themselves in the limelight. But I am a little different. I work and then quietly go on my way. I have no interest in getting into trouble, I just focus on my profession.
Anuj Kapadia's character extended from a three-month cameo to three years.
Gaurav told that Anuj's character in 'Anupama' started as a cameo of three months, but due to the love of the audience, it extended to three years. It is a female-centric show, but it was very special for Gaurav to see the male character getting so much love.
Now I am also looking towards OTT projects
'When I started playing the character of Anuj, I got a lot of love. It was a big thing for me that a male character got so much love in a show like 'Anupama'. However, Rajan sir recently told that Anuj is not needed in the story at the moment and asked me to focus on a new project. I have always tried to play my character in a new way. Now I am also looking towards OTT projects. There are great and diverse work opportunities out there. This will give me an opportunity to test myself as an actor in a new way.
Fame goes away one day; Hard work and honesty are always remembered
Gaurav Khanna also expressed his views on social media and trolling. He said, 'There are advantages in the world of social media, but it also comes with disadvantages. But I never mind trolling, because it is all part of the job. The most important thing for me is how professional I am in my work, and whether I am able to give what the audience and producers expect from me. I believe that fame goes away one day, but the hard work and honesty of an artist always remains in the hearts of people.
