A programme was organised by Sur Taal Sangam Sanstha in the hall of Sant Gadge Maharaj Auditorium in Gomti Nagar. On the stage, artists of Dholak, Tabla, Piano, Naal, Harmonium and Guitar were making the evening melodious with the sound waves of their respective instruments.

As soon as Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota arrived on the stage wearing a white kurta and golden jacket, the audience sitting in the hall stood up and greeted him. The Bhajan Samrat reached the stage with folded hands. In the very first bhajan, he mentioned Kashi, Ayodhya and Mathura. The audience was immersed in devotion after listening to the bhajan.

Kashi has changed, Ayodhya has changed, now it is Mathura's turn, Ram is standing with the bow raised, the flute is about to play' and when this was sung, slogans of Jai Shri Ram started being raised.

When the lyrics of the bhajan – 'Kashi badli, Ayodhya badli, now Mathura ki bari hai, Ram khade hain dhanush uthe, banshi bajne wali hai' were sung, people shouted Jai Shri Ram. The audience kept demanding one bhajan after another. Anup Jalota also did not disappoint them. He filled the audience with enthusiasm by singing all his hit bhajans.

8 year old daughter named 'Sur-taal ka Patakha'
Anup Jalota called the girl from the crowd and made her sing with him. When he named her 'Sur Taal Ka Patakha', people laughed a lot. The name of this girl who sang with Anup Jalota is Advika Srivastava. She is a class three student of CMS school in Lucknow city. The audience praised her a lot after listening to her song. The whole hall echoed with thunderous applause.

I like Sharda Sinha's songs a lot, but the standard of Bhojpuri has fallen due to today's songs. Many popular Bhojpuri songs have bad words, which are not good. Music should be such that it can be listened to while sitting with the family. Bhojpuri industry should make this change.
