The bail plea of ​​actor Siddiqui was heard on Tuesday. During this, the court granted anticipatory bail to Siddiqui saying that the complainant talked about the physical abuse he faced on social media, but it took 8 years to complain. The complainant filed the complaint about 8 years after the incident. In 2018, he had posted on Facebook alleging sexual exploitation against 14 people. Still, she did not approach the Hema Committee formed by the Kerala government with her complaint.

Justice Trivedi of the bench then said to the complainant, you dared to post on Facebook, but not to go to the police? Further, while ordering anticipatory bail, the bench said that because the complainant has delayed the police complaint and considering other circumstances, anticipatory bail is being granted.

Court sets condition for Siddiqui for bail As per the condition of anticipatory bail granted by the Supreme Court, actor Siddiqui will have to surrender his passport till the completion of the trial, and he will also have to give full cooperation in the investigation.

Actress's allegation – 8 years ago she called me to a hotel and raped her Malayalam actress Revathi Sampath has alleged in the complaint that about 8 years ago in 2016, actor Siddiqui had called her to Muscat Hotel in connection with a film. She had come to meet him, where she was raped. On the other hand, Siddiqui and his lawyer are continuously saying that the actress is accusing him only to tarnish his image.

After Revathi made the allegations, Siddiqui lodged a complaint with the Director General of Police, saying that serious allegations were being made against him to tarnish his image. In defence, he said that he had met Revati Sampat in the year 2016 in the presence of her parents.
