Ananya Pandey has shared her experience of attending Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding which took place in July this year. In an interview, Ananya denied the fact that celebrities get paid to attend Ambani's high profile weddings.
In an interview to Mashable India, Ananya said, They (Ananth-Radhika) are my friends, I don't understand why people think like this. I danced a lot at their wedding because I was attending my friends' wedding. I was celebrating their love.

Ananya further said, during the wedding, the Ambani family took utmost care to ensure that every guest was welcomed wholeheartedly. No matter how many functions were there, the entire family attended to all the guests in a wonderful manner. This is a very good thing because it made the guests attending the wedding feel very personal.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant got married on 12th July this year. Bollywood celebrities attended every function of the wedding. Priyanka Chopra, Shahrukh Khan, Rajinikanth, wrestler John Cena, Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Janhvi Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor danced a lot in the baraat.
More than 2 thousand celebrities and leaders from India and abroad, including former British PM Tony Blair, former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav, former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav and Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, attended the wedding.
