Air hostess arrested
Leaders Online; A total of one kg of gold was seized from an air hostess of Air India Express at the Kannur airport in Kerala. After this she was taken into custody by the police. The air hostess was bringing this gold from Muscat by hiding it in her private part (Rectum). The three are said to have smuggled gold in this way many times before.
It has come to light that this air hostess is from Kolkata, her name is Surbhi Khatoon. 960 grams of gold has been seized from her. Accused Khatoon was later produced before the magistrate and she was remanded to 14 days custody.
Even the security officials were surprised
Surbhi was a cabin crew member of an Air India Express flight from Muscat to Kannur. According to reports, Khatoon has smuggled gold many times before.
According to news agency PTI, a team of DRI Kannur arrested an air hostess based on a tip-off. The airport security officials were also surprised to see the size of the gold kept in the private part. The air hostess kept gold in her private parts in a special shape.
First such incident in India
This is said to be the first case in India where an airline crew member has been caught smuggling gold by hiding it in his private parts.
