The first look teaser of superstar Amitabh Bachchan from the film 'Kalki 2898 AD' has been released. In this 1-minute teaser, Amitabh is seen in the role of Ashwatthama, son of Guru Dronacharya.

In the teaser, Amitabh is seen talking to a child.

In the teaser, Amitabh is seen talking to a small child, who is asking him who he is? This child comes to Amitabh who is worshiping Lord Shiva and introduces himself.
He says I am Raya. Who are you? Is this a temple? Are you God?
Answering him, Amitabh says- 'Listen, my time has come. The time has come for my final battle. After this the child asks- Who are you?
Then at the end of the teaser, Amitabh says – 'I am Ashwatthama, son of Guru Drona, waiting for the 10th incarnation from Dwapar Yuga.'
Amitabh's young look is also glimpsed in the teaser.

The most special scene of this one-minute teaser is the one in which Amitabh Bachchan's young look is shown. This scene has been shot through de-aging technology.
It is clear from this that the back story of Amitabh's character Ashwatthama will also be shown in the film.

Apart from Amitabh, actors like Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani will also be seen in the film. The makers had released the teaser of this film at the San Diego Comic Con held in America last year.
New release date not announced
This film was scheduled to be released on May 9 this year in many languages but it has been postponed. However, the makers have not yet announced its new release date. In terms of budget, 'Kalki 2898 AD', made for Rs 600 crore, is the most expensive film of this year. It has been made by the well-known director of Telugu cinema, Nag Ashwin.
