Alia Bhatt said – Daddy (Mahesh Bhatt) was very excited about the film Highway. Every day he used to call me and say you are looking good, give my love to Imtiaz, he will change you. What daddy said proved to be true. I believe that the character of Veera Tripathi in Highway proved to be a milestone for me.
Alia Bhatt said- When Imtiaz came to my house to meet me, daddy was there. They know my daddy very well. Imtiaz handed me the script, I was trembling with excitement. Daddy said to go to your room and start reading it. He said that if a director comes to your house at 10 pm then you should definitely do the film.
