Akshay Kumar talked about success and failure: He said- 'I have learned a lot from the failures of my father-in-law Rajesh Khanna, I don't let success go to my head'

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has talked about success and failure. Akshay said that he has seen so many failures in life that he has understood that everything is temporary. Akshay also said that he has learned a lot from the failures of his father-in-law Rajesh Khanna.

I learned a lot from Rajesh Khanna's journey
In an interview to Galata Plus, Akshay said, 'I don't let success or failure affect my head. I have seen many people fall from the heights to the ground. I have heard many stories. I have learnt a lot from my father-in-law Rajesh Khanna because he has seen the most success in life.

Talking further about his career, Akshay said, 'I gave 16-18 hits in a row in my career, then 10-12 of my films flopped consecutively. I don't take all this seriously. I know from the beginning of my career that success is not yours. Tomorrow it will go to someone else. Today you have success, next Friday it will be with someone else. Success is a great thing, but don't take it seriously, it doesn't last.'

I did not know that I would become this superstar's son-in-law
In 1994, Akshay Kumar came to know that Rajesh Khanna was making the film 'Jai Shiv Shankar'. He reached his office to ask for work. Even after waiting for 2-3 hours, Rajesh Khanna left without meeting Akshay.

Akshay had told in an interview, 'He had not thought at that time that one day he would become Rajesh Khanna's son-in-law.'

Akshay married Twinkle in 2001
Akshay married Rajesh Khanna's elder daughter Twinkle in January 2001. Twinkle gave birth to son Aarav in 2002 while daughter Nitara was born in 2012.
