Ajit Pawar faction of NCP in Arunachal; Won 3 seats









New Delhi, Leading News Service: NCP (Ajit Pawar group) had contested 14 seats in Arunachal Pradesh. Ajit Pawar's group won three of these seats and got more than 10 percent votes. Ajit Pawar's group narrowly lost in other 3 seats.

Ajit Pawar's group has won for the first time outside the state of Maharashtra after the Election Commission has declared that Ajit Pawar's group i.e. Nationalist Congress Party is the party. So there is excitement in the Ajit Pawar group. Elected candidates in Arunachal Pradesh include Likha Soni, Nikh Kamin, Toku Tatung. This success of Ajit Pawar group can give the party national status. Along with Maharashtra, Nagaland, Jharkhand and now Arunachal Pradesh, the Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar Group) has People's Representatives, MLAs.
