Leader Online Desk: Space startup Agnikul Cosmos successfully launched the Agniban (Suborbital Tech Demonstrator) SORTED-01 mission today (May 30) from the launch pad at Sriharikota. ISRO congratulated Agnikul Cosmos (Agnibaan SoRTed-01) on its achievement and called the launch a 'milestone milestone'.
Agnikul Cosmos successfully launched the first Agniban SoRTed-01 mission from its launch pad. The 'Agnilet Engine' used in this is the world's first single-piece 3D-printed semi-cryogenic rocket engine (Agnibaan SoRTed-01).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised space startup Agnikul Cosmos Company for the successful launch of the Agnibaan mission. PM Modi said, “Congratulations to Agnikul Cosmos for the successful launch of the Agniban Sorted-01 mission from the launch pad. This engine test is supported by Agnikul's own data acquisition system and flight computers, which were designed 100 percent in-house. In addition, the test also proves the capability of the SOrTeD vehicle's entire avionics chain to control the vehicle's entire propulsion system. Capable of carrying 300 kilograms to approximately 700 km altitude, the Agniban can reach both low and high orbits and is fully maneuverable. It is designed to reach more than 10 launch ports.
