'Adipurush' film was a big mistake: Vindu Dara Singh said – Makers were asked to change the dialogues

Vindu Dara Singh recently talked about Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer film 'Adipurush'. He called this film a mistake of the makers.

Vindu Dara Singh shared his opinion about the film
During an interview, Vindu Dara Singh told that questions were asked to director Om Raut and writer Manoj Muntashir on the dialogues of the film. Both of them were interrogated. Vindu expressed his opinion by calling 'Adipurush' as ​​a 'big mistake'. He said that it was surprising to see such a big mistake from a talented director and makers. If their intention was to hand over the responsibility to the younger generation, they should have at least portrayed it correctly.

Heavily criticized the film 'Adipurush'
He said- It was really shocking, how such a talented director and makers could make such a mistake. If they wanted to put the burden of this on the children, they should have at least shown the right things. The movie was a dud, a huge mistake. I did not expect this.

Actors associated with the film had also asked for changes in the dialogue.
Referring to Om Raut's portrayal of Lanka as black instead of being made of gold, Vindu shared that the actors involved in the film had actually requested the director and writer to modify the dialogues. Because they started feeling that they were wrong. However, the filmmakers decided not to make changes, as they believed they were making something extraordinary.

'Adipurush' had hurt people's sentiments
In the film 'Adipurush', its makers had hurt the sentiments of the people on a large scale by shamefully depicting religious characters like Lord Ram, Goddess Sita and Lord Hanuman. A case was also registered against the makers. Where the court had said – For us, this film prima facie does not qualify the test laid down under Article 19 of the Indian Constitution… Not only are the dialogues of the film of poor language, but the depiction of Goddess Sita Many scenes in the film are also derogatory towards his character. Some scenes depicting Vibhishan's wife are also objectionable at first sight. Even the picturization of Ravana, his Lanka etc. is so funny and cheap.

Court-makers did not even take care of people's emotions
The court further said – While making such a film, the film makers and dialogue writers have not taken into account the emotions and feelings of the public by presenting the characters and dialogues in a shameful and obscene manner on a large scale, that too knowing that these characters Are worshipable.

Censor Board did not fulfill its legal duty
Along with this, the court also emphasized that the Censor Board failed to fulfill its legal duty while issuing the certificate to release the film without following the guidelines issued under Section 5-B of the Cinematograph Act, 1952.
The court had made these comments while hearing two petitions in which directions were sought to remove objectionable dialogues and scenes from the film 'Adipurush'.
