Actress Radhika Sarathkumar said that just like the Malayalam industry, the Tamil and Telugu industries are also not safe for women. During the shooting of the film, when the actresses used to go to the vanity van to change their clothes, their nude videos were recorded using a hidden camera.

In an interview to Asia Net, the actress said, 'When I was on a set in Kerala, I saw people gathered together and laughing at something. As I passed by, I saw that they were watching a video. I called a crew member and asked what were they watching?

He told me that there were cameras in the vanity van and using them, footage of women changing clothes was captured. I was told that you just type the name of the artist and you will get a video of them changing their dress. I also watched the video.'

Radhika is a well-known face in the Telugu-Tamil industry. She has also received a National Award.

Radhika refused to reveal where the incident took place
However, Radhika refused to tell where and when this incident happened. She said, 'If we spit while looking upwards, it will fall on our face. That is why I do not want to tell anything further.'

Radhika said- I had seen those videos myself
Radhika told that due to this she had a quarrel with her team. She said, 'I saw videos of women changing clothes in the van. After this I told the team that this is not right. I told them that if I find a camera in the car, I will hit them with slippers. I was angry. I insisted that I want to be safe.'

After this incident, I told this to my co-actors. I started getting scared of going into the vanity van. This is our private space, where we change clothes, rest or eat food.

This incident had such a bad impact on me that I used to go to the hotel and change my clothes.

Radhika has also worked in Hindi films like Himmatwala, Lal Baadshah, Aaj Ka Arjun, Mera Pati Sirf Mera Hai and Naseeb Apna Apna.

Radhika said- we have to take responsibility for our own safety
Radhika also expressed her opinion on the report of the Hema Committee which revealed sexual harassment going on at a large level in the Malayalam industry. She said, 'I was wondering why there was so much delay in the Justice Hema Committee report coming out. I have been in the industry for 46 years. Of course people have tried to do wrong to me too. But now we have to take responsibility for our own safety.'
