Phillaur Court has sent Kuldeep Khurana, father of model-turned-Punjabi actor Himanshi Khurana, to jail for 14 days. Kuldeep Khurana accused of assaulting and abusing the Naib Tehsildar on duty during the Lok Sabha elections in Goraya about 5 months ago.

Under which he was arrested and presented in the court. After which the court had given its decision to send him to jail. SHO of Goraya police station Palwinder Singh has confirmed the matter. He said that he has been arrested for obstructing work while on duty.

SHO Harpreet Singh told that Naib Tehsildar Jagpal Singh had lodged a complaint with him 5 months ago. When he was leaving the office for his duty, Kuldeep Khurana came from the other side and started abusing. Meanwhile, an employee present with him made a video of the entire incident. On the basis of the said video, the police registered a case against Kuldeep Khurana.

Arrest made on the basis of secret information from Ludhiana
After the case was registered, the police was searching for Himanshi Khurana's father Kuldeep Khurana. There were several raids by the police in Ludhiana regarding this. But nothing happened. Yesterday the police had received secret information that the said accused had come to his house.
Based on the information, the police raided and arrested him. After which Kuldeep Khurana was presented in Phillaur court. Where the court sent Khurana to jail. Khurana has been kept in Kapurthala jail by the police.
