Actress and 'Bigg Boss OTT 1' winner Divya Agarwal and her husband Apurva Padgaonkar have been accused of fraud. Mumbai's well-known broker Rafiq Merchant has accused the couple of not paying him his money. Rafiq says that the couple is refusing to return his Rs 2 lakh 39 thousand. At the same time, the actress has termed Rafiq's allegations as false.

Talking to Dainik Bhaskar, Divya said, 'I cannot talk on this issue right now. I will just say that all these allegations are false. We have spoken to our lawyer. We will release our statement soon.'

Throwing light on the whole matter, Rafiq said, 'Two years ago, Divya and her husband wanted to buy a house for investment. I helped them buy a flat in Lodha Palace in Jogeshwari area of Mumbai. They rented the flat for about one and a half years. However, after that they decided to sell the flat. I found a party for them. After several meetings, the deal was finalised. Now these people are refusing to give me even one percent brokerage for it.'
He further said, 'When I messaged Divya on her Instagram, she replied that she has also suffered a loss. She has blocked me on every platform. As per one percent brokerage, I am entitled to Rs 2 lakh and 39 thousand. Which Divya and her are refusing to give. This is my rightful money.'
