88-year-old actress Asha Sharma has passed away. The Cine and TV Artist Association has shared this information by posting on its X handle. However, the real reason for the actress' death has not been revealed.

Asha Sharma has worked in many TV shows and films. She was seen in the role of Shabari in the 2023 film Adipurush.

CINTAA expressed grief over the death of the actress

Cine and TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA) tweeted on its X handle at 3:01 pm on Sunday and informed about the death of Asha Sharma. They also expressed their condolences on the death of the actress.

Asha Sharma was bedridden since last April

Speaking to the media on the death of Asha Sharma, actress Tina Ghai said- After the release of her film Adipurush last year, she fell 4 times. She was bedridden since last April. She was ready to work even at that stage. She wanted to work till her last breath.

The director of the film Adipurush said – she was a good person

Director of the film Adipurush, Om Raut, also mourned the death of Asha Sharma. He said- This is very unfortunate. She was such a wonderful actress and human being. It is very sad to hear this.

Also worked with Dharmendra and Hema Malini

Asha Sharma started her acting career at the age of 13. She was known for playing the role of mother and grandmother in films and TV shows. She also worked in Dharmendra and Hema Malini's film Do Dishayein. This film also featured actors like Prem Chopra, Aruna Irani and Nirupa Roy.

Apart from this, Asha Sharma was also seen in films like Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai, Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam.
